I’ve just stumbled on this footage on the BBC website of a huge waterspout filmed over coastal waters in New South Wales, Australia: BBC waterspout clip. Coincidentally, at the exact moment I first saw the footage I was listening to a BBC Material World podcast feature on tornadoes.
